Registration & Account

I’ve forgotten my password. What do I do?

Visit our  password recovery page, enter your email and click ‘Forgot Password’. A link to create a new password should arrive in your inbox shortly. If you can’t find the email, make sure to check your spam.

How do I change my email or password?

After signing in, click on ‘My Profile’ in the top-right corner of any page. On the new page, click on ‘Preferences’ in the left hand menu. At the bottom of the page under the ‘Security’ header will be the options to change both your email and your password.

I can't sign in. What's wrong?

If you have only recently signed up with us, make sure that you have clicked the link in the confirmation email which was sent to your account upon registering. If you cannot find a confirmation email from My Job Hub, check your spam inbox in case the email has been miscategorised as spam.

If you have already confirmed your account, then visit our  password recovery page to reset your account password.

How can I update my profile?

After signing in, click on ‘My Profile’ in the top-right corner of any page. On the new page, click on ‘Preferences’ in the left hand menu to update your account information, like name, email and password.

Building & Uploading a CV

How do I register my CV?

After signing in, click on ‘My Profile’ in the top-right corner of any page. On the new page, click on ‘CVs’ in the left hand menu. Here you can either upload an existing CV in either .pdf or .doc/docx (Microsoft Word) format by clicking ‘Upload’, or, if you don’t currently have a digital copy of your CV, you can make a new one using the  CV Builder on our site by clicking ‘Create’.

Which CV file types do you accept?

We accept .pdf and .doc/docx (Microsoft Word) file types. We have to limit the file types we accept to make sure they can be accessed and read on across all platforms.

Can I remove my CV?

Of course, simply navigate to the  ‘CVs’ page in your account and click ‘Delete’, to the right of the CV you wish to remove. 

If you don't wish to be included in our candidate searches but do wish to store your CVs for free on My Job Hub for later use, simply change your availability status in your 'Preferences' page to 'Unavailable.

How many CVs can I save in my account?

As many as you like, this way you can use different CVs to apply to jobs which require different experience/skill sets.

NOTE: Make sure you set the desired CV to default when you apply for a job.

How do I modify or update my CV?

Navigate to your  ‘CVs’ page in your profile and click on the CV you wish to edit.

NOTE: You can only edit CVs which have been made on our site using the  CV Builder. To update an uploaded CV you will have to open the original file on your computer in an text-editing program like Microsoft Word and then re-upload it to My Job Hub.

I don’t have a CV, what can I do?

That’s no problem at all, you can simply use our  CV Builder right here on the My Job Hub website. This will help you simply and quickly create an industry-standard CV from scratch, which can be printed, downloaded, emailed and sent to employers when you apply for jobs on My Job Hub.

Searching and Applying for Jobs

How do I search for jobs on My Job Hub?

Navigate to our homepage ( www.MyJobHub.com) and type the keywords relevant to the role you are looking for in the left hand box towards the top of the page. In the left hand box, type the location where you are looking to find a job. Then press search and browse through all available options to find the one that’s right for you.

Can I apply for jobs on My Job Hub?

Yes! After searching for a job as described above and you’re on your results page, click on one of the job descriptions that interests you. If you have already uploaded your CV or used our  CV Builder to make a new one, then just click ‘Apply Now’ and your application will be send immediately. If you don’t already have a CV then you’ll need to upload or create one before you can apply for jobs.

Can I save jobs to come back to later?

Yes. Once you have signed in and you are on your jobs results page, click ‘Save Job’ to the right of the job title. The greyed-out star should turn pink to indicate that the job has been saved.

If you are already on the job vacancy page then the ‘Save Job’ will be just below the search bar at the top of the page, to the right of the job title.

How do I find my saved jobs?

After signing in, click on ‘My Profile’ in the top-right corner of any page. On the new page, click on  ‘Saved Jobs’ in the left hand menu. You will now be able to browse all your saved jobs.

Can I apply for a job without registering a CV on My Job Hub?

No, you need to register a CV by either  uploading one or using our CV Builder to create a new one before applying for a job on My Job Hub.

How do I find out which jobs I’ve applied for?

After signing in, click on ‘My Profile’ in the top-right corner of any page. On the new page, click on  ‘Applications’ in the left hand menu. You will now be able to browse all your previous applications.

I have a question about a job vacancy. Who should I contact?

It is best to contact the recruiter directly. My Job Hub simply hosts job vacancies for other companies, and as such has no further information about any of the jobs advertised on the site.
