Senior Business Analyst

Local Council Client

6 months

c£400/day Inside IR35

Senior Business Analyst urgently required to lead on the Design and Build workstream on a 6 month contract Inside IR35.

You will have advanced experience of leading workstreams, drawing on advanced analytical tools and techniques to solve complex problems and implement IT based solutions as part of large scale transformation projects.

You will ideally also have working knowledge of Streets & Grounds activities as well as Customer Services departments within the Public Sector.

As engagement lead for the design and build workstream of the project, you will have clear deliverables to work to:

  • Defining the analytical framework used to determine the information required, analysis to be conducted and the methods of identifying new opportunities to be built into the processes.
  • Drafting process maps ready for workshops with suppliers.
  • Finalising outputs of the workshops with suppliers and incorporating them into solution design documents for Grounds, Streets and Customer Service online portal.
  • Developing a series of test scripts to support the system implementation that will ensure the system is built to specification.

In addition to these deliverables, you will work collaboratively with the rest of the project team, providing support for the development of the outline business case, test plans, communications activities, status reports and benefits realisation plans.

Due to challenging environmental pressures, increasing customer demands and inadequate & outdated IT systems, the Environment & Culture division of our client are embarking on a programme of work leading to improved outcomes for local residents and customers.

Following the success of earlier solutions implementations and significant time spent reviewing potential future solutions, they are now keen to progress to the next service area, implementing a new integrated Streets & Grounds solution. With the detailed investigation and due diligence process now complete, the division have identified their preferred supplier and are ready to procure the solution.

Due to challenging timeframes, resourcing constraints, narrowness of current areas of expertise and the need to drive improvements at pace, we are seeking to contract a capable expert with knowledge of Environment & Culture, Contact Centre and Digital Technology, leading on business analysis activities for the project.
