Complaints Handler

Sevenoaks, Kent

Role Purpose:

You will be responsible for abiding by the companies processes and procedures to ensure complaints are dealt with professionally and within a timely manner.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Handling both inbound and outbound calls to customers
  • Handling each call efficiently and updating records accordingly
  • Investigate complaints and managing the process
  • Contact customers regularly ensuring they are kept up-to-date at all times
  • Liaise with both the customer and partner agencies to ensure an outcome is met
  • Present the company in a professional manner at all times

Essential Skills:

  • Good negotiation / handling skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to comply with company procedures and guidelines
  • Experienced in handling complaints and working to deadlines
  • Confident working under pressure and maintaining a professional approach at all times

Desirable Skills (though not essential)

  • Experience of speaking to customers over the phone
  • Previous experience gained in the motor sector
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills

Additional Information

The role will also require you to reliably commute to and from the office on a daily basis. In addition to this, you will need to have a flexible approach to working a 37.5 hour week (8.5 hours per day) as well as 2 weekends in 6 (day off in lieu to make up for them).
