Test Lead / Test Manager required by a forward thinking organisation in Leeds.
Your new company are trying to change the entire approach of the UK Government - no mean feat I know ...!
Your new team will help go about that by using an evidence-based approach, developing cutting edge analytics models to help prove what they are claiming.
As a Test Lead, you'll be responsible for how the organisation go about their testing of key applications, mentoring more junior members of the team and ensuring best practice is being followed at all times.
You'll work closely with various key stakeholders to develop the IT Test Plans and Test Scripts.
You'll be responsible for conducting UAT, Systems Testing, Performance Testing and various other testing which may be required depending on the application/system.
You'll be an experienced Test professional, either working on a Senior Test Analyst role, or currently acting as a Test Lead/Manager.
From a qualification point of view, you'll likely have ISTQB or ISEB Certification - although actual work experience is more important.
You'll have proven experience of testing complex systems as well as team leadership / line management, proven knowledge of ITIL and a real enthusiasm for implementing best practice across testing.
Salary & Role Info:
For the right person, we have a salary of £40-48k on offer, as well as generous benefits.
Due to the programme of work being relatively defined at this stage, the initial role will fixed until September 2020, however, there is scope for further extension.
The position will be located in Leeds - but they have flexibility for you to be based in Manchester or around the North as long as you can get into Leeds a couple of days per week.
