IT Business Analyst  

Location London 

£500 – 550 p/d

We are searching for this IT BA to have exposure to Management solution (for maintaining all assets such as equipment, furniture, building and its assets etc). Also the skills to map processes for existing asset tracking and identifiy the gaps in the process, This is essential to this brand new role. 

Essential background experience must include, Excellent skills in gathering critical requirements and the skills to implement an Asset management tool such as Remedy or Service Now or Salesforce this is essential. The client want to use this tool globally, so the client want this BA to put a strategic plan together ready for critcal implementation stage. 

Our client, a global leading telecommunications retailer are seeking Business Analysts capable of getting stuck in with AS-IS and TO-BE process mapping straight away. This is essential to identify the gaps in process, needed to reach the business’ target state.

There are a number of work-streams whereby the changes are required with process change involved to ensure there is a backed process in place. These include:

  • Asset Management – The client needs to generate a singular view of the complex environments for servers/endpoints and networks to ensure that InfoSec/IT requirements are informed. There is a necessity for someone who has extensive knowledge of technical delivery.
  • Patch Management – Present danger issues need to be addressed quickly by implementing an emergency patching process. The incumbent individual will need to work closely with the environmental refresh work-stream to identify what is going to be upgraded and when. The thinking behind this is to simplify the patching gaps, perhaps on a cycle basis (TBD).
  • Hardening – Again, working closely with the environmental refresh work-stream, the client intends to identify what processes need hardening to implement the ongoing hardening process.

Other highly desirable responsibilities may include:

  • Security incident management process and framework.
  • Security event logging/management.
  • Forensic Investigations.
  • Technical vulnerability management (TVM).
