If you are an experienced Project Manager, who has delivered projects within business or regulatory change, this is the role for you!

Previous Financial Services experience is a must have, so that you have the business understanding and gravitas to face off to very senior stakeholders throughout the business, as well as being able to offer full autonomy from end-to-end.

My client is in a large growth stage across the business and the change function are being asked to work on more and more projects from different parts of the business, as a result they are looking to grow the change function to have different levels of experience and develop a change presence both offshore and onshore.

Purpose of role:              

  • Project planning and monitoring
  • Management of project risks and dependencies
  • Assisting business Operational workstream leaders to construct and monitor plans
  • Own and manage project budgets
  • Act as a cross Operational workstream contact
  • Construct presentations and status reports
  • Present solutions to external parties
  • General support to the project team
  • Manage external partners and suppliers
  • Construct full businesses cases
  • Define project scopes and deliverables
  • Design and construct business operating models
  • Explore market infrastructures

Knowledge, skills and behaviours required:       


  • Financial services background,
  • Demonstrate delivery of successful Business Change
  • Minimum 5 years as lead project manager
  • Presenting to external clients and suppliers
  • Management of external suppliers



  • Proven track record as a lead Project manager role within financial services
  • Proven track record working as a lead Project Manager on wide variety of deliverables
  • Experience of working on Regulatory Initiatives such as MiFID II, GDPR etc. is desirable
  • Ability to create and define operating models
  • Exposure to a wide spectrum of financial products including ETD, OTC, FI, Equity
  • Understanding and demonstrable knowledge of financial services, buy side asset management desirable
