Our client are seeking a Business Programme Manager – Product Information Management. Inside IR35 Initil 6 months & Remote work. 

The Product Information Management (PIM) Programme Manager will be responsible for leading the Request for Proposal process working with internal stakeholders and external vendors during the selection process for a new PIM

A key part to this role will be establishing and being responsible for the clients PIM capability and taking them through the election process and onto the implementation phase:

  • Lead the construction of a viable Business Case working in collaboration with Information Technology resources and other key participants
  • Ensure full engagement from senior management through regular communication and ongoing facilitated meetings
    • Engage with the wider business to understand their requirements and align Vendors on required capabilities
    • Capture the core requirements to engage at ExCo level to ensure buy-in and support for the implementation phase
    • Ensure that the clients strategy is at the core of the RFP process
      • Experience in working with Risk, Compliance and Audit findings and committees
      • Driving cultural change to ensure that PIM capabilities are adopted by internal and external Business users and technical system stakeholders
      • Strong core programme management skills, be comfortable leading and driving a plan and managing teams up to ExCo members

The PIM Programme Manager will be responsible for:

  1. Overseeing the RFP stage ensuring business needs are fully provisioned
  2. Ensure engagement of business stakeholders and senior management throughput RFP stage

PIM Programme RFP:

  • Oversee a PIM RFP Delivery team throughout the RFP process.
  • Oversee engagement and progression of our potential Product and Implementation partners through RFP response to final selection
  • Create a viable Business Case to support the implementation phase of the Programme
  • Ensure our ExCo are fully engaged and kept aware of the programme progress including eventual implementation funding approval
  • Manage communications to senior management
  • Be aware of and oversee to progression of operational changes with the business and IT functions associated with the PIM
  • Ensure both operational guides and training are an output from the RFP process
  • Manage risks and issues and ensure dependencies are understood and reported
  • Represent the PIM programme for security, IT and other governance committees as required
  • Business Programme Delivery, PIM preferred, or IT Transformation
  • Manging operational change driven by application change
  • Experience working in complex, legacy Technology environments
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Experience in working in cross functional teams and leading change management
  • Experience in running RFP procedures
  • Experience of supplier and third party risk management
